To implement company’s business philosophy and continuously to build a compliant central enterprise under the rule of law and stick to the principle of integrity, Sinochem Holdings formulated the Sinochem Compliance Obligation Convention and Integrity and Compliance Manual. It also launched a campaign among all staff to sign the Sinochem Compliance Responsibility Agreement to fulfill the compliance philosophy that “compliance shall start from the top while all staff shall take the initiative to comply, stay above the bottom line of compliance risks, and create value by making practical compliance efforts”.

The Sinochem Compliance Obligation Convention contains sixteen provisions which stipulate compliance obligations for the company and its employees, for example to comply with management obligations prescribed by law and statutory obligation of tax payment, etc. These provisions manifest the bottom line of Sinochem Holdings’ compliant business operation in a comprehensive, summary and concise fashion. The Integrity and Compliance Manual instructs employees to undertake their duties in a disciplined and ethical manner, and help the company and employees carry out various operation and management activities in accordance with the laws and regulations.
