ELIX Polymers and Dutch company TNO have signed a cooperative agreement to explore the possibilities of recycling ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) plastics from electronic and electrical waste.

Under the agreement, ELIX Polymers and TNO will collaborate on solvent-based recycling methods to develop a safe and environmentally friendly process for recycling ABS plastics from discarded electrical and electronic equipment.

ELIX Polymers, a prominent European manufacturer of ABS resins and derivatives, brings its expertise in the ABS field to the partnership. TNO, on the other hand, contributes its knowledge and facilities in dissolution and purification. Together, they aim to develop sustainable solutions and promote a green circular plastic industry.
