Lately, a new green microbial product in agriculture independently developed by the Soil Remediation R&D Team of Shenyang Research Institute has been successfully sold to regions such as Jilin, Ningxia, and Shanxi. The batch of products will mainly be used in improving the quality of saline-alkali soil, accelerating the maturation of black soil layer, and increasing the quality and yield of main crop farmland.
The Soil Remediation R&D Team has developed more than 30 functional microbial strains through a R&D path of extensive screening, directional induction, and scientific compatibility to address the unbalanced soil acidity and alkalinity, uneven soil fertility, and vulnerable soil microbial community in China’s main grain producing areas, and has successfully developed two universal microbial agent products through pot experiments, field pilot tests, and large-scale field validation experiments. These products can quickly activate the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fixation in the soil, improve soil fertility, and increase crop yields by 5% to 15% for corn, rice, and wheat, etc.
Over the past two years, the Soil Remediation R&D Team has developed more than 20 green microbial products in agriculture covering four series, with an application area of 55 million mu.
