On March 12th, ChemChina signed its Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation with the Municipal Government of Henan Province.

Prior to the signing of the agreement, Mr. Ren Jianxin, President of ChemChina, talked with the province's Vice-governor Mr. Shi Jichun in the company of his delegation. The two sides agreed to jointly speed up the development of a coal-based chemical industrial site, a radial-tire manufacturing site and a chlor-alkali chemical site, and commercialization of R&D results, and they explored new areas of potential cooperation.
