Sinochem Holds Gala Performance Marking Its 55th Anniversary

On the evening of September 19, Sinochem Corporation held a grand gala performance to celebrate its 55th anniversary. China National Oriental Song & Dance Ensemb le was invited to perform on the evening. The management of Sinochem including President and CEO Liu Deshu and Sinochem's staffs and their families watched the performance.
Retired staff of Sinochem and guests from related governmental departments and business partners was also present at the performance. The Successful Conclusion of the First Corporate English Speech Contest On August 19th, the first corporate English speech contest for youth is held at Sinochem Mansion; fourteen candidates from different offices and departments take part in the contest. In the contest, the candidates make their point with the two topics: how to create value and strive for excellence and the future rule of Sinochem. In accordance with rules, the candidates are required to make a one-minute offhand speech as to the questions or topics given by the judges. The standard pronunciation of the candidates makes a deep impression on the judges and the audiences; the candidates give their opinion of the corporate prospect from their point of view; their wonderful speech won them warm applauses. While fully reflecting the vigor and energy of our young employees, the candidates express their good wishes and firm confidence in the potential of the company. For this event, we invite three special judges to serve as judges; they are respectively from Beijing Foreign Language University and China Daily Press. The judges make positive comments on the performance of the candidates. Judge Zhao Xinjie of Beijing Foreign Studies University is of the opinion that she can foresee a bright future for Sinochem from the wit, passion, and high English proficiency of the candidates.
