Since June, 2007, Sinochem have started providing assistance to Gangba County of Tibet Autonomous Region, Helinge’er and Qingshuihe Counties of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, by investing RMB 49 million Yuan to construct a group of local projects involving production, education and medication. Based on local reality, Sinochem implement intellectual and technical assistance and helped local people renovate ideas and master the abilities of production increase. These measures have greatly promoted local economic development and the improved production and living conditions.

Recently, Sinochem finished the construction of 7 infrastructure projects, which greatly facilitated local people in terms of water, traffic, hospitalization, study, irrigation and mastering vegetable planting skills. Meanwhile, we also provided skill and capability training in terms of traditional painting, intertexture, medication and vegetable and fruit planting for local people. More than 80 students developed new skills. In Helinge’er and Qingshuihe Counties, Sinochem helped local people develop a meat product industry, traffic, farmland water conservancy works, education, medication, drinking water project and supported education development, including participating in the construction of constructing the No.1 Middle School of Helinge’er County, No.1 Middle School of Qingshuihe County and New District Middle School of Qingshuihe County; and improving the institution’s condition.and reeducation of surplus labor forces.

Sinochem and our employees have organized many donations for socially needy groups and disaster-hit areas. We have donated materials and money to a number of projects, such as “Love of the earth, Water cellar for mothers”, “Chinese Foundation for Lifeline Express”, Hope primary school, earthquake and flood disasters. Our employees also initiated volunteer activities during their spare time, such as helping poor children and old people, organizing aid education in mountainous areas and offering love to the society.
