In a recent evaluation conducted by China Enterprise Federation and China Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA), Sinochem stood out as “the Most Accredited Enterprise of Year 2007”. 19 other enterprises were granted the same honor include Baosteel, Chalco and Shenhua. At the same time, 130 additional enterprises were honored as “The Enterprises with High Integrity”.

This is the first time that China Enterprise Federation has conducted the credit rating campaign nationwide after it was appointed as China’s one of the earliest pilot agencies for credit rating. The move is aimed to establish and improve the social credit system required by the market economy and further enhance the Chinese enterprises’ credit qualification. The key indicators for the evaluation include the enterprises’ comprehensive quality, financial abilities, management abilities, competitiveness and their social credit track records.
