Sinochem is one of the largest comprehensive dealers of petrochemical raw materials in China. We have established our marketing characters and advantages in terms of plastic and bulk chemicals. On this basis, we strived for two additional goals. The first was to seize the fast development opportunity of the petrochemical business in the Middle East. We developed the goods resources from the Middle East, clasping strategic cooperation with suppliers of the Middle East like SABIC, and gradually transferred to the Middle East market. The second was to develop end users. We established a relatively steady end user group in South China, which became the major import channel of plastic raw materials for the South China market.

We established distribution networks in such cities as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Shanghai, Quanzhou and Jiangyin, which further enlarged the market share of end user sales. It greatly improved our marketing capability in bulk petrochemical raw material and consolidated our market position in the fields of plastic and bulk chemicals.

In the recent years, we have continued to remain both the leading exporter of such chemicals as dyes and pigments, barium carbonate, strontium carbonate and the importer of acetone and DEG. We kept our traditional competitive advantages in the dyestuff sector and built up a number of brands, including "EVERBRIGHT" pigment, "DYCOS" and "YOUHAO" dyestuff. All these brands enjoyed a high level prestige in the marketplace.
