Sinochem has established a number of crude oil and fuel oil warehousing terminals alongside China’s alongside China’s coastline and riverside. In the recent years, we sped up construction of the petrochemical warehousing terminals centering on Aoshan petroleum transshipment base, built or expanded facilities in Zhuhai (Guangdong Province), Yangzhou (Jiangsu Province), Nantong (Jiangsu Pro-vince), Tianjin Port (Tianjin Municipality) and Quanzhou (Fujian Province) and rolled out the petrochemical warehousing and logistics network alongside the coastal and riverside area. Moreover, the Zhoushan National Oil Reserve Facilities which we constructed under the government contract were under way smoothly as scheduled. By 2007, Sinochem’s petrochemical warehousing and terminal capacity reached around 21 million mt.

By far, our existing and would-be petrochemical warehousing facilities (including the Zhoushan National Oil Reserve Facilities) enjoy a total capacity of 9 million cubic meters and have come up with a network covering Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Bohai Bay area, facilitated by a comprehensive jetty portfolio ranging from 3,000 mt class to 250,000 mt class and having secured the leading position in the third-party petrochemical warehousing logistics market.
