Against the complicated economic climate in China and abroad in the first half of 2008, most of our business units have maintained a strong momentum of healthy and rapid development by closely adhering to the spirit carried down from the working meeting in the beginning of the year, advancing the strategic plans in a down-to-earth manner, reinforcing the management and overcoming the impact of all the negative factors. By the date ended June 30, 2008, our revenue has amounted to 71% of the whole year’s budget, up 54% year-over-year; the net income before tax has accounted for 80% of the year’s profit budget, up 47% YOY. The revenue and the profit both hit the record high, meeting the assessment targets set by the SASAC and maintaining a leading position among the central state-owned commercial and trading companies.
